BIPOC-AIC Releases ‘Year 1 Impact Report and Strategic Plan’

NEW YORK — BIPOC-AIC (Black, Indigenous, and People of Color – Adult Industry Collective) has released their “Year 1 Impact Report and Strategic Plan” about their past, current and upcoming work on how to address issues of race and racism in a way that would “represent sustainable change for the industry.”

“A year ago,” group founder Sinnamon Love explained, “25 Black, Indigenous, and People of Color in the adult industry came together to draft policies for sustainable change in the adult industry. Due to COVID-19, our attention swiftly focused on protecting and caring for the most vulnerable sex workers.”

Love also wanted to thank supporters for “donating, amplifying, and reporting on the vital work of the Black, Indigenous, and People of Color Collective, helping us provide much-needed financial assistance, mental health, and educational programming for BIPOC Sex workers.”

The report states that, according “to the directives of our steering committee, composed of Sinnamon Love, Jet Setting Jasmine, and Fivestar Contreras, the BIPOC-AIC delivers our services and programs under three pillars: Mutual Aid, Education, and Mental Health and Wellness.”
