Adam & Eve Releases Results of ‘Masturbation Frequency’ Survey

HILLSBOROUGH, N.C. — Adam & Eve has revealed the results of a new survey asking the question, “How often are you masturbating?”

When respondents were asked how often they masturbated, 22% said “Once or twice a week.”

Coming in second was “Never” with 17%. “Once or twice a month” with 12%, “Daily” with 9% and “Less than every few months” with 7.5% round out the top five.

“Masturbation is a safe, healthy, wonderful way to practice self-care,” said Dr. Jenni Skyler, resident sexologist at Adam & Eve. “With benefits both mental and physical, solitary sex can reduce stress and tension, boost immunity and improve sleep. Plus, it feels good.”

The web-based survey of over 1,000 American adults age 18 and up, conducted by an independent company, was sponsored by Adam & Eve to study sexual preferences and practices.
